Break out your PotjieKing™ and Tequila! We are taking your mouth to Mexico.
This Mexican version of our South African sosatie will spice up your weekend for sure. Enjoy the Mexican Anticuchos Recipe!
Happy Friday PotjieKing™ fans!
Anticuchos can be found on street-carts and food stalls all over Mexico. While a Mexican Anticuchos Recipe can be made of any type of meat, the most popular are made of beef heart (Anticuchos de corazón). If you’re an adventurous eater give the beef heart a try!
If that level of daring isn’t your thing, I’d suggest a nice Sirloin steak instead.
Ingredients for your Mexican Anticuchos Recipe:
1 large Sirloin Steak
2 large Garlic Cloves
4 To 6 medium Jalapeno Peppers
1 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1 1/2 cups Water
2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Ground Red Chilli
Pack one layer of briquettes onto the coal grid inside your PotjieKing™ and place a couple fire lighters in the bottom section and get that going.
Once the briquettes have stopped smoking, you are ready to get cooking.
”So long as you have food in your mouth, you have solved all questions for the time being”
