Port & Mutton Potjie Recipe.
Ingredients for your Potjie Recipe:
100g Butter
30ml Cooking oil
5 Carrots chopped chunky
1 Large onion, sliced
3 tsp Crushed Garlic
2 Bay leaves
4 tsp Fresh chopped Thyme
Shoulder of mutton, cubed
200g Streaky bacon, sliced
200ml Port of your choice
150ml Stock of your choice
Salt and pepper to taste
4 Large potatoes, sliced
Pack one layer of briquettes onto the coal grid inside your PotjieKing™ and place a couple fire lighters in the bottom section and get that going. Once the briquettes have stopped smoking, place your Potjie pot onto the PotjieKing™ to heat up.
